Serai was a significant and complex project, sitting on the boundary of two municipalities (City of Fremantle and Shire of Mosman Park) with no underlying structure plan and a height limit of four storeys. 

Trent led a project team through a comprehensive stakeholder engagement needs analysis and place planning project, followed by three design review presentations. The proposal for two 8-storey towers and a new commercial precinct was successful first time through the Development Assessment Panel. This meant the project could get to market at a key time in the apartment market cycle in Perth during 2021 and 2022.
